The Challenge

Hexagon wanted us to carry out marketing surveys with their global manufacturing industry customers. They wanted to understand their customers use of their Lite and Pro version of their IoT device management app. They also wanted us to use the opportunity to carry out a consultative soft sell to the customer for the Pro version.

How we helped

We mobilised a team of agents to reach out to all previous and current app users in EMEA, APAC and Americas. Through the agents understanding of the complex tech and asking probing questions they were able to determine the customers use and opinion of the app.

Through our agents understanding of the product and system they were also able to up–sell the Pro version of the app.

The Result

Within the first 30 days our agents secured over 23 free trials and quotes being sent within a month and a potential increase in revenue of £34,500 which previously would have been lost through lack of customer contact.

We were able to present our customer data back to Hexagon allowing them to understand their customers further and amend the app layout and predicted use of their customer based on the findings resulting in a better product.
